Mayor of London Sadiq Aman Khan has said that many of the measures taken in London to counter coronavirus <\/strong><\/a>are similar to those taken in Tehran, and Tehran <\/strong><\/a>is even ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Khan made the remarks in an online meeting with Tehran mayor Pirouz Hanachi on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Referring to the conditions imposed on Iran by U.S. sanctions, Khan \nsaid: \u201cIn meetings with the British government officials, I would tell \nthem about the problems of Tehran in relation to sanctions and I hope \nthat this problem will be solved soon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hanachi for his part noted that Iran is fighting coronavirus and sanctions <\/strong><\/a>at the same time, adding \u201cDespite the pandemic, start-up businesses have been activated in Iran <\/a>and many services were provided in person before the outbreak, are now done online and on virtual networks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Elsewhere in his remarks, Hanachi said that in the global crisis, \ncountries usually put aside their differences and problems and try to \nhelp each other so that the situation does not get worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
