South Pars gas extraction capacity to rise by 5 bcf/d

Gas extraction capacity from South Pars Gas Field will increase by five billion cubic feet per day once 10 platforms of the field become operational, announced the managing director of South Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC).

Mohammad Meshkinfam further said that such an output will bring in $25 million for the country, Shana reported.

He said construction of the 10 platforms is among the commitments of SADRA Company.

The contractor, he said, should do its best to build platforms for phases 13, 17, 18 and 22 to 24.
